Ron and Rebecca Joyce had a vision for their 40 acre farm nestled in the beautiful Spruce Hill Township, just north of Alexandria, MN. This vision has become an 8 acre vineyard, apple orchard, and winery built from the ground up by them. Their vineyard boast of 16 different cold hearty grape varieties, over half of them developed by the University of Minnesota. The vineyard and winery reflect much of who they are; family, military and region.
Ron and Rebecca are both military veterans. Ron retired in 2014 after 29 years with the Minnesota Army National Guard as an infantry officer, serving two deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. Rebecca retired in 2022 having served 22 years with a deployment to Afghanistan; 14 years as a Navy nurse and the remainder in an Army Reserve troop medical clinic .
